Johnny Wells

Johnny Wells is a Relationship Manager at Presidio Group Wealth Management. He supports client relationships by assisting advisors with meeting preparation, follow-ups, and planning tools like eMoney®, helping to ensure a seamless client experience. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of San Francisco, graduating summa cum laude and as a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Alpha Sigma Nu honor societies. He also studied fashion and design at Parsons School of Design, reflecting his wide range of interests and creativity.

His career includes experience in private equity, consulting, technology and wealth management. Before joining Presidio, he was the first Benefits Advisor at Gusto, where he helped build the company’s employee benefits and health insurance platform nationwide. His work gave many small business owners the ability to offer healthcare benefits to their employees for the first time, an accomplishment he considers one of the most meaningful in his career.

His decision to pursue wealth management was shaped by watching his father navigate the complexities of family finances and trusts, an experience that showed him how the right advisor can change the course of a family’s future. He brings that perspective to the families he serves across generations. Outside of work, he enjoys music (20+ years of guitar playing), art and design, and spending time with family and friends at Lake Tahoe.
